Nature of the Service

This is an independent reference site. It does not maintain official arrest, jail, release, court, probation, parole, federal, or immigration records. It cannot confirm custody, direct an agency to release someone, post bond, or file a records request or court paper for a visitor.

The site points toward Lincoln County offices, Minnesota corrections and court resources, federal locators, and selected outside research tools. Any official determination must come from the government entity that created or controls the record.

Acceptable Use Rules

You agree to use the site in a lawful way that does not harm other people, the service, or its providers. In particular, you may not:

• Use the site while committing or assisting any unlawful act.
• Use information to stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass another person.
• Base employment, housing, lending, credit, or insurance decisions on site content.
• Seek unauthorized access to accounts, servers, code, data, or restricted functions.
• Operate bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools against the site.
• Interfere with site availability or another visitor’s lawful use.

No Consumer Reports

Lincoln County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not supply background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and neither it nor its advertising partners provides a screening service. You agree that information from this site or a linked tool will not be used for:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or another employment decision.
• Tenant selection, lease approval, or other housing screening.
• Creditworthiness, lending terms, or insurance premiums.
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit.
• Any additional purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Sites Operated by Others

Links may lead to Lincoln County release records, Sheriff and corrections pages, Minnesota or federal portals, legal-aid information, and outside search services. A link is provided for convenience and does not amount to endorsement. We do not control an outside site’s content, privacy practices, prices, results, uptime, or data handling. Review that provider’s own terms before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and all material are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no promise that:

• Information is complete, accurate, current, or suitable for a particular need.
• The site will remain available without delay or interruption.
• The service will be free of bugs, errors, or security weaknesses.
• A partner search will locate every relevant person or record.

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota Department of Corrections, a court, or any other government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lincoln County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, and providers will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from access to, inability to access, or reliance on this site or an outside service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lincoln County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, and providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees caused by your site use, misuse, violation of these terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.

Ownership of Site Materials

Site text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Lincoln County Released Inmates or the applicable content partner unless stated otherwise. You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, modify, or commercially exploit those materials without prior written permission from the rights holder.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. A revision becomes effective when the updated terms are posted here. Continued use after posting means that you accept the revised terms.

Suspension or Loss of Access

We may restrict, suspend, or end access to all or part of the site at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice. This right does not limit any other remedy available under these terms or applicable law.

Minnesota Law Applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Minnesota. Government data referenced by the site may be subject to separate access rules, including the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. The affected provision will be narrowed or adjusted only as much as needed to make it lawful and enforceable.
